I have owned the Soyabella Soy Milk Maker for over a year now and I use it 3-4 times a week, every week. It makes fabulous soy milk and nut milks with ease. I first started out making soy milk and was very pleased with the results. After several months, I began experimenting with nut milks and could not believe how easy it was to make raw almond milk, The grinder on the machine is fabulous and I have even used it to grind flour out of garbanzo beans. It grinds coffee, but since I have a coffee grinder, I haven't used it for that very much. You can also make tofu with the tofu press. This machine has so many uses and has become the most used appliance in my kitchen.
The best way to handle cleaning, is to do it right away. Soy beans have a type of protein that can clog the filter and make it more difficult to clean. I use a good vegetable brush and scrub it for about a minute under warm running water and have never had any problems with clogging.
Another great use for this machine is for soups. I love to make lentil soup and this machine will give you a great consistency in your soups. If I never used it for anything but Soy Milk I would still give it 5 stars. It does what it says.
Makes great soymilk in ~ 20 minutesSep 01, 2013
I am writing this because this product does not deserve 1 star. I have had a soyabella for about one month. I had tried to make soy milk from scratch at home before: it is a lot of work, and my results were not that great. With the soyabella one only has to soak the soybeans for ~ 8 hours, and the machine does it all. In about 20 minutes it makes ~ 5 cups of good soy milk (the exact amount depends on how much water one puts in the pot). It is the real stuff, not the supermarket ones with sweeteners or flavors, but flavors can be added.
One ends up with the soy milk and about 3/4 cup of soy grits , which are quite good. One load of milk makes ~ 1/2 cup of the regular tofu or much more silken tofu (which I have not perfected yet).
To be safe, it is better to wait until all is cooled down to clean the top/sieve assembly and recover the soy grits. The tricky part is cleaning the sieve; there is a toothbrush-like tool that comes with the machine. I use a vegetable brush, which seems faster. The various cups and accessories that come with the machine are quite well designed and help speed things up.
The soyabella can also make nut milks and rice paste, beside grinding coffee, but I have not tried it yet.
The machine comes with a small recipe book. If one is serious about tofu-making, I would recommend one of the tofu books (I have "the bool of tofu", which is quite old) or some internet searching for more info.
I am giving this product 4 stars instead of 5 because I think some design improvements could be made - it does occasionally walk a bit on the counter when grinding. It is not a big problem if one watches it, or one can confine it with heavy bowls or even put it in a flat-bottomed dry sink, but one should aware of it.

I did not receive what I paid for !! Wrong voltage!!Jul 17, 2013
I have bought a 220 Volts model and received a 110 Volts model, so I had to expend another 60 US$ to buy a transformer so I can use the device.
